Once a place of Christian worship, St James' church in Malcolm Street, Derby now has a new purpose.
In May 2008 it opened as an indoor climbing centre. Down the right side of the building there is a long wall for bouldering and opposite this is a slightly higher wall for top roping. The highest walls at the end are for leading and have a significant overhang.
New routes are set every week and it is a great place to come and socialise.
